My Photography Process

Once you’re ready to schedule your next shoot, click contact and send me a message! I'll get back to you as soon as possible to accommodate your request.
02.
confirmation
Once you've messaged me, I'll get back to you about what type of shoot you're wanting, confirm the date and time, and mark it on my calendar! Typically I will send you a final confirmation message the day before the shoot.
03.
strike a pose
The big day! We’ll meet, discuss good placement and poses, and get to know each other! In the meantime, I will be preparing any needed equipment or props so we can jump right into it.
04.
photo delivery
Within a week of your shoot (2-3 weeks for weddings), you'll receive your edited digital photos via email in a downloadable Pixieset album. Enjoy!
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Basically, you're going to rock this! Just be yourself and let your personality shine, It's my job to help pose you naturally for the camera and guide you throughout the process.
What should I wear?
This all depends on the season and type of shoot! For Christmas, reds and greens are always a good option, maybe pinks or blues for little ones at Easter time. But when it comes down to it, just dress however you feel most comfortable, whether fancy or casual.
How many photos will I receive?
Depends on your type of session. Portrait sessions typically get back a minimum of 15 digital photos, while events and weddings get tons (depending on size of event or wedding). Message me to discuss!
How soon will I get my photos back?
I love photo editing, and get to work normally same day as our shoot. My turnaround time is within a week for portraits/headshots/boudoir, and within two weeks for big events and weddings. You'll receive an online Pixieset gallery dedicated to you once editing is complete!
Do you do male boudoir photography?
Not at this time, but possibly in the future.
Are you available outside of North Carolina?
I am readily available to work in central North Carolina (the Triad area) and occasionally the Raleigh area. At this time, the option to travel for photoshoots isn't realistic for me. I do, however, make exceptions for destination weddings - if you need a photographer for this purpose, fill out the contact form, we may be able to work something out.
